Onboarding & Planning:

“ A new hire isn’t a surprise visitor from out of town. Plan for their arrival”.- Jay Samit

This is probably one of the most crucial parts of your hiring process, and yet many employers neglect it which can lead to staff turnover. Creating a plan for the new members first week and set an agenda to help integrate them into the team. Give them an excellent first impression of your business which will make a difference in your retention rates.

Having an agenda set of tasks they will understand in their first week, this shows them that you have given thought and consideration to how important it is to get off on the right foot in a new role. That investment of time and energy will pay off dividends.

Some of the areas covered in our plan for onboarding and planning are:

-        Creating a “Week 1” plan for your new starter.

-        Understanding the onboarding process and its importance in staff retention

-        How to integrate new staff into an established organisation

-        Setting and Managing expectations for the start of their journey within your business

On-boarding and planning for a new hire was something I thought happened but now since I strategies for it I know my future employee feels comfortable & welcomed to the company from the first minute of the first day.
